Max Cooke, guitarist and singer in GoodBooks uses a Diago Showman pedal board and Powerstation. The first single "Walk With Me" came out at the beginning of April on Transgressive Records, and has received airplay on the likes of Radio 1, XFM and MTV2. Following support slots for Art Brut, The Magic Numbers, Dead 60s and Dirty Pretty Things, they headlined their own club tour throughout April. Since signing to Columbia in May, things have stepped up a gear somewhat. August saw them playing at Reading and Leeds Festivals and are now out on a co-headlining tour (with Fields) for two months solid in October and November. Make sure you check them out. |
