The EXAR TM-04 Tremolo re-creates the classic smooth vintage amp tremolo sound, and brings it into the 21st century with a wider range of usable speed and depth settings.
Designed and built using the best low-noise and reliable components, it is whisper quiet, free from ticking, thumping and LFO throb usually associated with other tremolos.
Another problem with most tremolos on the market is that - due to the way they work - when they're engaged there's a noticeable drop in volume. The EXAR TM-04 solves this with an output level control so you can restore the signal volume to it's original level.
In normal operation the volume is modulated with a 'soft' asymmetrical sine-wave, typical of the tremolo effects found in many vintage amps. Flicking the gate switch to 'On', changes the waveform to a 'hard' square-wave for a more extreme machine-gun stutter sound.

RATE: Adjusts the tremolo speed GATE: Sets the type of modulation wave * OFF is a 'soft' asymmetric sine-wave * ON is a 'hard' square-wave DEPTH: Adjusts the depth of modulation LEVEL: Sets the overall output volume. Use it as a make-up gain to restore the overall signal to the uneffected level.
